Floyd Zakana (1956 – 2017)

He was more than a priest — he was a flame that refused to die. Floyd Zakana carried righteousness like a torch, lighting paths in Lagos, Buguma, Plateau, and the creeks of Bayelsa. From civil service desks to pulpits, from hotel boardrooms to mission fields, he lived as a man of integrity whose compassion drew souls to God. Ordained late but faithful always, he became the shepherd who prayed for a nation and nurtured a people. His legacy is not in stone or wealth, but in the countless hearts he turned toward holiness — a quiet revolution of faith that still echoes beyond his grave.
