With over three decades of professional experience, he has played a pivotal role in shaping and advancing the entertainment industry in Nigeria and beyond. His mastery of the turntables, magnetic stage presence, and enduring relevance have earned him the celebrated title, “The Spinning Sensation.”

Early Life and Education

Prince Ekenyo Mohammed Omieh was born in Bayelsa State, in the Odioma community of Brass Local Government Area. He is the son of the late King Cadbury George Omieh Igoni XXI, the revered Amayanabo of Odioma Kingdom.

Owing to his father’s official responsibilities, which required frequent relocation, Ekenyo’s early education was marked by mobility across various communities. He commenced his primary education at Township School on Moscow Road, Port Harcourt, later attending St. Peter’s Primary School in Odioma and subsequently St. Luke’s School in Nembe, where he obtained his First School Leaving Certificate.

He proceeded to Nembe National Grammar School (NNGS) before transferring to Enitona High School in Borokiri, Port Harcourt, where he completed his secondary education in 1985.

Career Beginnings

After secondary school, Ekenyo initially pursued a passion for soccer and played for the Niger Delta Basin and Rural Development Authority Football Club. However, persistent injuries redirected his focus toward music and the art of disc jockeying in Port Harcourt.
