Chief Thompson Brisibe was born on 31st March 1932 in Ojobo Town, Delta State, to Chief Brisibe Francis Adamagu and Mrs. Ebiyeifa Brisibe (née Awe) of Ekeremor, Bayelsa State.
He spent much of his childhood in Ekeremor among his maternal relatives, where he was nurtured in an environment that shaped his calm disposition, quiet strength, and enduring sense of discipline—traits that defined his life.
Education Journey: A Story of Determination
Unlike many of his peers, Thompson Brisibe began formal education at the age of ten. Despite this late start, he quickly distinguished himself through brilliance and dedication.
His academic excellence earned him recommendations for accelerated progression while schooling in Warri. However, the untimely death of his guardian disrupted this path, forcing his return to Ojobo, where he completed his primary education at Zuokumor Primary School.
